Viewers of Game of Thrones have been wondering about one of the show’s great mysteries, and in a recent interview on Tuesday, Natalie Dormer, best known for her role as Margaery Tyrell on the HBO series, added fuel to the fire about the fate of the lead character Jon Snow.

Daily Mail states that English actress continued to tease fans of Game of Thrones about whether the Lord Commander will turn out to be dead or alive in the forthcoming sixth series which will kick off in April.

The 34-year-old Hunger Games actress was speaking to Channel 5 News when she made it known to people that, “Jon Snow is dead,” at least for now.

As stated by the BBC, Natalie Dormer said, “If a person get stabbed that many times, you’re dead. There are some basic medical regulations that even apply in Westeros.”

Natalie also stated that the upcoming Game of Thrones will be the most unpredictable, yet the series is the first that will overtake the books, which is based on the novels George RR Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire.

“Individuals can never predict Game of Thrones. And of course we have the new situation this year which is never known before, that George hasn’t published the next book so it is new for everyone.”

According to The Verge, the Game of Thrones will overtake the books. Game of Thrones season 6 will fire up on HBO on April 24.
