What's This?

“Game of Thrones” released a trailer of episode 3 titled “Oathbreaker” and has revealed more exciting developments in the series. The short preview showcases both the old and new as we revisit old places and see new faces in the upcoming episode.

After Jon Snow’s expected resurrection, there should have been less anticipation regarding the next episode. HBO sought to remedy that by releasing a preview that will definitely get you off your seat.

The Independent pointed out one very important detail from the trailer regarding the new head of House Bolton, Ramsay. It shows two banners with the sigil of House Umber, one of the houses he believes would not betray House Bolton even after he kills the Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch.

He then converses with a man believed to be Smalljon Umber, son of Greatjon Umber with another man from house Umber behind him. From the synopsis released earlier by HBO, Ramsay will be receiving a gift in ‘Game of Thrones‘ episode 3.

Watchers on the Wall reveal that Smalljon is clearly the one giving the gift, although the man behind Ramsay looks ominous, it would be very out of place for him to be suddenly killed. We have a very good idea who this gift might be and it will indeed make Ramsay very happy.

We are talking about Rickon Stark who was last seen going to the Last Hearth seeking refuge from Theon. The Last Hearth is the seat of House Umber, which very well mean that he is the gift HBO spoke of and Smalljon is the oath breaker.

Having Rickon Stark in his clutches gives Ramsay a leverage against all the Stark loyalists. Rickon Stark is the last legitimate Stark heir given that Bran is nowhere to be found in Westeros and Jon Snow is an illegitimate bastard.

The northern lords are already taking sides as once again the Boltons and the Starks are at each other’s throat. Will the North finally see the fall of the Starks or will the Boltons vanish, flayed from the pages of history?

Watch “Game of Thrones” this Sunday to find what happens.

It makes zero sense for the Umbers or Manderlys (as mentioned in the show) to support the Boltons.

Of course, book readers know the show makes no sense.
