Game of Thrones fans are still reeling from Melisandre’s big reveal in the premiere. Now that weekend is coming, previews for the next episode titled “Home” are now showing up online.
Moviefone revealed new images from Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 2 that reveal many returning characters including Brandon Stark, Meera Reed, and Yara Greyjoy. Episode 2 will continue where the story left at Mereen, King’s Landing, Winterfell, Braavos, and Castle Black, adding more scenes from North of the Wall and Pyke in the Iron Islands.
HBO has also released a half-minute promotional video for ‘Game of Thrones‘ Season 6 Episode 2. In the short clip, Sansa Stark finds out from Brienne that her sister Arya is alive as well. The clip also includes a scene that shows Arya Stark continuing to train with The Waif in Braavos.
The video also shows a scene in Winterfell where Ramsay believes Sansa is heading to Castle Black and proposes a plan to attack the Night’s Watch. Finally, it shows the chaos brewing in King’s Landing as Cersei and the Faith Militants reach a breaking point.
According to Watchers on the Wall, Brandon Stark will also return accompanied by the Three-Eyed Raven. New characters will also make their debut including Harald Karstark, son of Lord Rickard Karstark now in an alliance with the Boltons.
“Home” will also show the events in the Iron Islands after Yara Greyjoy returns from her failed rescue of her brother Theon. According to the synopsis released by HBO, Balon Greyjoy will be “entertaining other proposals.” What these mean proposals might be are unknown but could possibly be connected to the line of succession of House Greyjoy.
The fervor of the show has just begun, and after a surprising start to the season, many are bracing themselves for the next revelations in the show. “Game of Thrones” Season 6 Episode 2 will air this Sunday exclusively on HBO.
