The savage violent murder of Jon Snow left the fans of the TV series Game Of Thrones desperate for answers. And Emilia Clarke, the English actress who portrays the role of Daenerys Targaryen, unleashed a hint into the TV series’ plot.
Clarke took to the stage at the Independent Spirit Awards sponsored by Heineken on Saturday. She joined director Nate Parker on stage to present the Best First Feature award.
It seemed that director Parker had a plan. As soon as Clarke joined him on stage, he immediately asked Clarke whether Jon Snow was actually alive. When the actress tried to evade his questioning, Parker then asked if the 29 year old Game Of Thrones actress could give him a wink if Jon Snow was still alive.
Clarke eventually did wink just before the cameras got cut off, the Daily Mail reported. Could this mean that perhaps the beloved hero of the Night’s Watch was in fact still alive?
In the final episode of the Game Of Thrones, Ned Stark’s bastard son was stabbed by his supposed allies defending the Wall. The scene ended with Jon Snow, portrayed by the 29 year old actor Kit Harington, lying in a pool of blood and apparently dead. However, HBO unleashed a new promotional poster earlier this week for the upcoming Game Of Thrones season 6. This kept fans of the GOT TV series guessing all the more about Jon Snow’s fate.
Meanwhile, Sophie Turner, who played Sansa Stark in the GOT, is representing the Game of Thrones at the Academy Awards in Los Angeles, as reported by Watchers On The Wall. While chatting with TV personality Giuliana Rancic about the Game of Thrones season 6, Turner revealed that she will be very much alive for the next season. “They kill all of us off, so I check at the end of every script, I’m flicking through, I’m like death, death death – I’m good for this season,” she said.
