‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6: Will Lyanna Mormont Meet Jorah Mormont?
“Game Of Thrones” Season 6 fans can’t get enough of the sassy Lady of Bear Island, Lyanna Mormont. Judging from her expression before the Battle of the Bastards, this 10-year old is getting none of Ramsay Bolton’s surrender nonsense.Advertisement
With a personality as fierce as her house’s sigil, Lyanna Mormont has caught the attention of many on this explosive “Game Of Thrones” Season 6.
The question in everyone’s mind now is whether she will have a chance to meet her exiled cousin Jorah Mormont? Will we see Lyanna Mormont be key player in the “Game Of Thrones”?
Having been exiled soon after the Greyjoy Rebellion, Jorah Mormont was probably gone before Lyanna Mormont was even born.
According to Bustle, the two are highly unlikely to meet being on different sides of the Narrow Sea. With Lady Mormont up in the north dealing with the loss of some of her 62 fighting men, Jorah Mormont is currently looking for a cure for grayscale.
Even though the current situation in “Game Of Thrones” offers no chance for a meeting betweeen Jorah and Lyanna Mormont, this can change when Daenerys Targaryen finally launches her invasion into Westeros. Hopefully by then, a cure to grayscale has been found and he is back to Daenerys’ side.
This will be his ticket back to Westeros after several years of exile. King’s Landing will be the obvious starting point for the invasion as it is the location of the Iron Throne, which means the north will be the last to be conquered.
This gives the Starks ample time to consider negotiating with the Mother of Dragons and her advisors. House Stark will probably summon the heads of all the other northern houses to the table, including sassy Lyanna Mormont.
While it is a long shot, this will be the only way Jorah Mormont will ever meet his cousin. He could return to Bear Island if he so wishes and if Lady Mormont allows him of course.
If would be nice of “Game Of Thrones“ to let these two meet in the future. Blood kin is blood kin after all. Of course, while “Game Of Thrones” has always been about family, family members on the show do not necessarily love each other to bits. It remains to be seen how Jorah Mormont will react to badass Lyanna Mormont, and vice versa, when the day comes.
Be sure to catch the “Game Of Thrones” season 6 finale “Winds of Winter” 9 PM Eastern Time, only on HBO.
