Game Of Thrones Update: Jon Snow Lives, According to Kit Harington
In this Game Of Thrones spoiler report, Kit Harington drops a hint about the real score in Jon Snow’s death. Is he really dead? Ready yourself for some spoilers.
“Jon Snow Lives!“ This is the news that Kit Harington hinted on his recent interview with Humo, a Belgian weekly television magazine, in Paris while promoting his new film Testament of Youth.
This is a far cry from the “It’s final. He’s dead.” statement of Kit Harington when he was interviewed by Vulture on June 2015, after the Season 5 finale of Game of Thrones.
According to the magazine interview which was written in Dutch and translated with the help of a Redditor by Vanity Fair, Harington stated the following:
Harington: […] I often felt frustrated as well. I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to Game of Thrones. So the show is like a [double-edged] sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much. The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime—
Humo: How many more seasons would that be?
Harington: Nice try [laughs]. I can’t talk about that. Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: the day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects [laughs].
Although the Humo posted the article on September 8, it is still unclear how recent the interview really was. But still, this will give hope to the fans that have been campaigning that “Jon Snow Lives.”
Will the 28-year-old actor be back for Game of Thrones Season 6?
Too good to be true, according to Vanity Fair but, if you’ll believe what Kit Harrington said, then, there’s still hope that the Lord Commander’s fate did not have its “beautiful ending” in Season 5.
