There’s no doubt that Game of Thrones Season 7 will be bloody, how so? Well according to Sophie Turner not all major characters will make it to Season 8 of HBO’s hit medieval fantasy drama.
“It’s quite sad. It really feels like things are wrapping up and coming to an end,” says the actress who plays Sansa Stark. She also revealed that people are hanging around Belfast a bit longer wanting to be around their colleagues for six years.
According to Dose of Series, when reminded that Game of Thrones still has one more season, her response had a cryptic tone. “We’ve got one more season…well, not all of us.”
Last season, Sansa Stark got reunited with her bastard brother Jon Snow and saw to her husband’s brutal death. Now that Jon is the King in the North, she now has a bigger role to play being the only true-blooded Stark believed to be still alive.
No More Dead Starks In Game Of Thrones Season 7?
While she is safe for the moment, keep in mind that Littlefinger is still in the North. And if there’s anything you should know about him, it’s that many major characters met their demise due to his doing, directly or indirectly.
As for the other major characters left in Westeros (cough* Lannisters cough*) Daenerys Targaryen is finally returning after six long seasons. She wants what is rightfully hers and will burn anyone who stands in her way, literally.
But a more urgent threat to the Lannisters is Arya Stark who has already dispatched Walder Frey and two of his sons. True, her list has shrunk significantly during her stay in Braavos, but of those that remain, one is now parading as the Queen of Westeros, a sitting duck if you ask me.
Sophie Turner might be on point in saying that all of them won’t make it to Game of Thrones Season 8. The question now is who will get axed next season.
