At the beginning of “Game of Thrones,” Daenerys Targaryen had nothing to her name only three dragon eggs.

The Dothraki belonged to Khal Drogo her husband and were only loyal up until he fell off his horse.

Now Daenerys has her own army, acquired through liberation, alliances, and outright destroying her enemies. So how big is her army and how do the armies of Westeros stack up against it?

Currently, her army is significantly larger than that of Aegon the Conqueror. In addition to the army sailing across the Narrow Sea, the armies of Dorne and the Tyrells are waiting in Westeros!

Daenerys Targaryen’s Navy

Her combined navy composes of the Greyjoy fleet under the Greyjoy siblings, the Dornish fleet, remnants of the Slaver’s fleet that attacked Mereen and the Redwyne fleet. Overall it amounts to over 500 ships, 100 Greyjoy ships, 200 Slavers, 200 Redwyne, with the remainder coming from Dorne.

Compared to those is Westeros, the North has no ships to speak of, while the Iron Throne barely has 20. Euron Greyjoy has promised 1000 ships but these are far from completion.

Daenerys Targaryen’s Army

Daenerys Targaryen’s army is by far the greatest ever seen in “Game of Thrones.” Besides her three monstrous dragons, her army amounts to at least 200,000 men. Among those from Essos, there are currently 8,000 Unsullied, 100,000 Dothraki, and possibly 5,000 Ironborn.

The armies of her allies in Westeros amount to almost the same. The Reach, the most populous of the Seven Kingdoms boasts 100,000 men during the War. Dorne fielded 10,000 men during Robert’s Rebellion and could possibly field the same.

Compared to the remnants of the armies of both the North and the Lannisters, it will be no contest. All the northern forces combined barely amount to 10,000 men even with the addition of the army of the Vale, it only amounts to 30,000 men.

House Lannister has lost nearly half its military during the War of Five Kings and is now left with 30,000 men with the addition of 2,000 Goldcloaks in King’s Landing. Their leadership is also in tatters with the deaths of Lord Tywin and Ser Kevan Lannister.

If it does come to war it will be a crushing victory for House Targaryen even without her dragons simply because of sheer numbers.

However, it would be best to save as much of their military as possible.

Another King is rising in the north and his army does not rely on living breathing soldiers. The Night King will be the true and final enemy for Daenerys Targaryen. Unfortunately the Mother of Dragons still has no idea regarding the conflict Beyond the Wall.

Catch the epic battles to come when “Game of Thrones” Season 7 premieres on spring 2017.

I think Jon and Daenerys will most likely team up against the night king. Jon knows he needs a bigger army if he is going to fight the white walkers. Jon also has no interest with iron throne but I worry about littlefinger.
