According to Bustle, Cersei Lannister might, in her desperation, will utilize the stash to get rid of her enemies once and for all.
After Tommen and Margaery taking the side of the High Sparrow, the Lannisters and Tyrells are running out of options. The Mad King intended to burn the capital with wildfire but was thwarted when Jaime Lannister stabbed him in the back.
In Bran’s vision, however, the halls were being engulfed with green flames which can only mean that if it did not happen in the past, it will definitely happen in the future.
It is unknown whether there are still leftovers of the substance after Tyrion Lannister used a substantial amount in the Battle of the Blackwater in “Game of Thrones” season 2. But there is at least one pyromancer still alive who knows how to make it and the only other person in King’s Landing who knows of his existence is Cersei Lannister.
According to a post on Reddit, the Queen Regent had already revealed her intent to burn cities to the ground if something happened to her children.
Now that something is about to take away her last remaining child she might be close to breaking point.
Utilizing the substance on King’s Landing could have disastrous consequences but considering her desperation and the fact that the people of the city humiliated her, she could not care less.
She could watch from the comforts of the Red Keep as the green flames consume the Faith Militant and the High Sparrow.
