“Game of Thrones” season 6 has been plagued by online leaks of its episodes for the majority of its run.
With the highly anticipated finale set to air in a few days, HBO is hell bent on preventing Winds of Winter from making its way into torrent sites.
While online leaks for the “Game of Thrones” season 6 finale will be hard to come by, predictions are not. Here are some of the information scoured from the deepest pits of the internet.
Game of Thrones Season 6 Finale Spoilers
According to a deleted thread, in her desperation to avoid her punishment for King Robert’s murder, Cersei Lannister will probably cause something stupid. One theory is that she will unleash the wildfire hidden under King’s Landing to set the city on fire, interrupting her trial indefinitely.
In the confusion, Tommen will be killed fulfilling the witch’s prophecy that all of Cersei’s children will die. This will, in turn, drive her mad with grief setting the stage for season 7.
We could possibly catch a glimpse of the current state of affairs in Dorne in the wake of Prince Doran’s assassination. Is a war with Dorne something to be excited about come next season?
We will also see House Stark dealing with the aftermath of the Battle for Winterfell. With Davos discovering the stag carving he gave to Shireen, a rift between him and the Red Woman will definitely affect the weakened House Stark.
Bran Stark is now used being the new Three-Eyed Raven with the help of Benjen Stark and Meera Reed.
We might also see the introduction and/or rise of a new hated character in the finale.
Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 10 leaked online?
Earlier, the company has begun its crackdown on internet piracy with the series being the most illegally downloaded TV show to date. They have also begun cracking down on Youtube channels that release leaks and spoilers in an effort to increase viewership.
According to The Independent, fans are still trying to get their hands on leaked versions of “Game of Thrones” even just hours before an episode airs. Many fall victim to malware from these shady season 6 leaks from torrent sites like Piratebay.
After “Game of Thrones” season 6 episode 5 “The Door” was accidentally leaked by HBO Nordic and “No One” being released on a streaming website, the company has taken measures to stop episodes from being released prematurely. With the final two episodes being the biggest one’s this season, online leaks are highly unlikely.
While it was certainly great to watch online leaks and spoil the living daylights out your friends, watching it with the world is much better. Catch ‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 finale Winds of Winter only on HBO.
