The success of Samsung’s current flagships has been an indication to the Korean tech giant that it may be doing something good. The market is now anticipating its upcoming release: the Galaxy Note 7. How will it fare against the Galaxy S7 series, like the S7 Edge?

Galaxy Note 7 vs Galaxy S7 Edge

Just like Samsung’s past releases, there have been a number of leaks and tips ahead of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 release. Much of the anticipation is due to the current flagships from the Korean tech giant which garnered praises for their excellent features. The pressure is on for Samsung to come up with another killer set of smartphones.

There have been a number of reports detailing the supposed features of the Galaxy Note 7 slated to release this year. According to Gotta Be Mobile, it appears that Samsung is planning to release two iterations of the product line.

Because of the Galaxy S7 Edge, it is likely that Samsung will be working on a Galaxy Note 7 Edge, too, alongside the Galaxy Note 7 flagship. Likewise, people should also expect a similar build and design between the Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy Note 7. However, the latter should sport added features to differentiate it from the current flagships.

Other Expected Features

According to Greenbot, other expected features include curved edges and USB-C that will render the Galaxy Note 7 incompatible with existing VR. Chances are, Samsung may not be willing to move forward with the accessory, but it may perform some tweaks to enhance the feature or make it more compatible with its other products.

Other reported features include a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage space. As with other leaks and tips, all information should be taken with a grain of salt until the final announcement.
