What's This?

It’s time to celebrate, because a Friends reunion is finally happening. The entire cast of the hit TV series will reunite for a two-hour episode on NBC. While it’s considered to be a “Friends” reunion, in reality, the stars are coming together to pay tribute to James Burrows, who recently completed his 1,000th TV episode as sitcom director.

The “Friends” reunion is occurring on February 21. Stars of the show, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry will be seen together in one frame.

While the presence of the stars will create a special aura, actors from many more shows will reunite. “Taxi,” “Cheers,” “Frasier” and “Will & Grace” stars will be paying tribute to James Burrows. The “Friends” reunion at Los Angeles can surely be a treat to watch. However, it is not sure if all the stars will be possible to be accommodated in the same room.

NBC chief Robert Greenblatt mentioned, “I’m hoping all six will be in the same room at the same time,” but he added, “I’m not sure we can logistically pull it off.”

Fans have been asking for a Friends reunion for years. The show that followed the fortunes of four friends was an instant hit among the youth. Viewers used to follow it religiously. Burrows directed fifteen episodes of the show.
