Free PS Plus Games: Official List For January 2016 Is Out

Sony has finally announced free PS Plus games for January 2016. The list is here now, and it is up to you to decide whether your wait was worth it. Read on for details.


Sony on December 30 announced the list of free PS Plus games for January 2016. The list was posted on PlayStation’s official blog. In the post, Sony wrote, “As we look forward to the New Year, we’re excited to share our January 2016 PlayStation Plus lineup with everyone. This month our PS4 games pay homage to a couple classic, fan-favorite titles, while updating the gameplay and graphics to PS4!” Let us now move on to the free PS Plus games:

Hardware: Rivals, a multiplayer PS4 game, will make its “exclusive debut” on PlayStation Plus come January 2016. Below is the complete list of games :

  1. Legends of War Patton (PS Vita)
  2. Dragon Age: Origins (PS3)
  3. Medal of Honor Warfighter (PS3)
  4. Grim Fandango Remastered (PS4, PS Vita)
  5. Nihilumbra (PS Vita)

PS Plus members will be able to play these games for free starting January 5, 2016. In the comments section of the PlayStation Blog, players does not seem very happy with the list of games announced. While the poster thegreendragon87 commented on the post, “another month of nothing;” another poster, IRONMANAJM, wrote, “Please Playstation, stop insulting PS4 gamers by passing all the 2nd rate freebies. It’s crappy free games month after month which isn’t worth the effort of downloading it, wtf!!!!!” The comments are seeing no end.
