What's This?

Sony’s PlayStation has been in the news a lot of times this year, especially during the holiday season. The sales figures have confirmed that the PlayStation is the most popular gaming console among gamers. 2015 is a great year for PlayStation players, and gamers are now waiting for 2016 for the free PS Plus games the company is yet to announce.

On Twitter, Sony PlayStation fan Jonny Elsby inquired about free PS Plus games for January 2016. He tweeted to Fred Dutton, Blog Manager, PlayStation Europe, “will PS Plus IGC for January be announced today?” Fred Dutton replied, “No, likely Next Week.” This happened on December 23. So the official list of games should be out anytime. We can expect the list today or tomorrow.

Sony announces free games two weeks before the release, but this time, it’s only 2 days left before January, and the games are not yet announced. As you can see in the tweet, no additional details are given.

Until the January free PS Plus games go live, you can enjoy the free games for the month of December 2015. Here is the list:

1. Freedom Wars, PS Vita
2. Gauntlet: Slayer Edition (PS4)
3. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon (PS3)
4. Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken (PS Vita)
5. King’s Quest — Chapter 1: A Knight to Remember (PS4)
6. SSX (PS3)

We will update you as soon as the list comes out. Keep watching this space for more updates on free PS Plus games.
