Fitbit has announced Blaze, a fitness tracker, on Tuesday.
The first-ever fitness tracker, available with a color touchscreen, monitors one’s steps, sleep, and heart rate. Paired with a smartphone, the device can detect the location, connect to a music player, and alert the users for calls, texts and other notifications.
According to Apple Insider, the device comes with a variety of frames and bands; and by default is available in black, blue or purple silicone band. The device is water-resistant.
The size of the Blaze is similar to Fitbit Surge. The biggest downside, however, is that it lacks GPS. Nevertheless, it boasts a battery life of five days and is compatible with iOS or Android, Gizmodo reports.
The device can be pre-ordered at a price of $199.95.
