‘Fifty Shades Darker’ leading lady Dakota Johnson is tired with all the sex scenes she has to fim with Jamie Dornan. Did she damage Dornan’s ego?
Dakota Johnson hold nothing back on her Interview magazine (via Mirror). She said that simulating sex can be quite tedious and she is so over it.
“I’m filming the next two installments of the Fifty Shades movies back-to-back. I’m doing one [of the sex scenes] today. It’s not… comfortable. It’s pretty tedious,” she said. “We’re not having actual sex. But I’ve been simulating sex for seven hours straight right now, and I’m over it,” she added.
Her words may be considered something she only uttered because she was seriously tired of shooting the movies or she really does not like acting with Dornan anymore, which is what Movie News Guide speculated.
Was Dornan secretly offended and thought how in the world Johnson can complain like that when he was very considerate to her feelings when they were filming “Fifty Shades of Grey?” After all, the upcoming movies really contain a lot of sex scenes and it can be so boring to act so in love with the act over and over again not for Johnson, but for Dornan as well.
Dornan himself said last year that filming these sex scenes is not really comfortable. While viewers may enjoy the scenes, doing them can take a toll. He detailed his plight to The Observer Magazine. He said that, “anyone who thinks actors get turned on doing sex scenes in films is mistaken.” He added, “There are dozens of hairy men standing around, moving cables and lighting equipment. That’s not sexy unless you’re into being watched, which I’m not.”
He also shared in an interview on how sensitive he was to Johnson’s feelings – apologizing first whenever the plot dictated he carry out something “heinous” against Johnson’s character Anastasia Steele.
Celebuzz adds fuel to the fire that Johnson really offended and Dornan and actually knew what she did. This is why she filled his trailer with many balloons on his birthday on May 1. This can be taken as her sweet peace offering.
