For those who had not yet seen the previous episodes, this would sereve as a warning for SPOILERS.
In the “Ouroboros” episode, AMC’s “Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462” made its cross-over appearance on the show. The role of plane crash survivors in the show has now become a complete mystery. If they would be seen in the upcoming episodes remains to be seen.
The showrunner, Dave Erickson told Entertainment Weekly about Flight 462’s appearance on the show, “It really started with AMC. I think the desire was, since we only had a six-episode order for season 1, it was to do a narrative that would carry us through season 6 of The Walking Dead so that people would stay engaged in Fear throughout our long hiatus.”
He added that his assistants and the show’s writers, Lauren Signorino and Mike Zunic, were the ones who had developed the story supervised by his co- executive producer David Wiener, “They developed the idea, and then the goal was to find a way to integrate that with the show at large.”
On the scene where Chris (Lorenzo Henrie) was put in a situation that someone needed his help by putting him out of his misery, Erickson said that it was going to change him. “That’s cathartic. That’s something that gives him some kind of a release,” he said.
While with Nick’s (Frank Dillane) discovery of how to survive a zombie herd, he said that he was the one who already had close encounters with the dead and he was someone whose opinion and view of the dead has been evolving. He explained, “the way he approaches and the way he understands the dead is far different than anybody else on the show, and what this allows him is an opportunity to get up close and personal.”
In a report by International Business Time, the fourth episode “Blood in the Streets” would continue on how the group will deal with other survivors and with Strand’s (Colman Domingo) strict rule of not helping others. His character is still a mystery.
In the teaser trailer for the fourth episode, a group of people they had let on board the yacht was planning on taking it from them and they were armed with ammos and guns. Chris and Travis were tied up and were trying to convince their executor not to execute them. However, Nick was missing in the boat.
