‘Fast 8’ Michelle Rodriguez Depressed? Wishes She Died, Not Paul Walker?
It may sound odd, but Michelle Rodriguez is reportedly jealous that Paul Walker died ahead of her. Is she depressed?Advertisement
It seems that Rodriguez has been deeply affected by Paul Walker’s untimely death. In a video obtained by TMZ, the 37-year-old actress appeared under the spell of a psychedelic plant or drug called Ayahuasca, despite the fact that she used it weeks prior to the interview.
“I have to say, you know, when I lost Paul, I was like… I went through about a year of just being like an animal,” she said in the clip that will air as part of the documentary “The Reality of Truth” by Michael Zapolin.
She said the incident made her think about scarily short life is. “Like what could I do physically to just get my mind off of existentialism?” Rodriguez added. “Get my mind off of how transient life is, and how we just come here and can disappear at any moment.”
The co-star of Paul Walker in “Fast and the Furious” continued, “How could I get my mind off that? So I just went summer, crazy, nuts! [Laughs] Beserko!” She said, though, her travels sometimes make her think more about Walker more.
“Like I did everything I could possibly do to hide from myself,” she said. “And I’ll tell you that my Ayahuasca trip made me sad that he left me here.”
Rodriguez clarified, ”It wasn’t a sadness that he’s gone. It was more like a jealousy that he’s there first.”
It can be recalled that in Nov. 30, 2013, Paul Walker died while driving a Porsche Carrera GT. According to a CNN report, the daughter of the late actor filed a complaint against the auto-maker, claiming that the Porsche had “multiple design flaws.”
However, it was denied by the company, saying his death was reportedly caused by him. It was pointed out that his “all other injuries or damages claimed, were the result of (his) own comparative fault.”
What could Michelle Rodriguez truly mean in her revelations? Does she need in coping with this loss? With the idea of death?
