Fans Accuse MasterChef Australia Of Being Rigged; Georgia Is Said To Win In The Finals
It’s now down to two top chefs: Billie McKay and Georgia Barnes will be vying for the top spot on the Monday’s final episode of MasterChef Australia.
The last task in the previous episode proved to be a tricky one. The contestants were asked to prepare 23 dishes with 23 desserts to be served to guests – all by themselves and all under the pressure time of just an hour.
Jessica Arnott was eliminated, despite her delivery for the guests being right on schedule, because the judges didn’t quite like her grapefruit, white chocolate and popcorn dessert, according to TV Tonight.
Gary Mehigan easily commented that the girls gave the best dishes they ever tasted in the history of the show.
However, it was Georgia who easily won last night’s episode, hands down. Her Mango Sorbet with Vanilla Yoghurt Parfait with Macadamia and Chilli Praline, garnished with Chilli Salt melted the judges’ hearts.
Matt Preston commented on her dish, despite being delivered late, that “Deliciousness wins out every time.”
Fans of MasterChef Australia turned to social media to express their dismay in the last episode where Georgia secured a top spot in the Finals, instead of Jessica.
“Let’s come up with some bullshit reasons we didn’t like Jessica’s amazing dessert so we can keep Georgia in” #MasterChefAU

How the hell did Georgia get thru to the masterchef final if she couldn’t even keep up with Billie and Jess. Masterchef is so rigged.

To anyone saying #MasterChefAU is rigged so the most marketable person wins let me remind you that I won & I’m a pudgy Asian man in my 30s.

We’re so sorry Jessica. You aren’t blonde and weepy enough. #masterchefau
