Mark Zuckerberg yesterday announced the launch of Facebook Live Video via his official FB account. What exactly is this Live Video? This feature which was earlier only accessible to celebrities has now been introduced to one and all to broadcast the moments they want to with family and friends from anywhere in the world.

To explain Facebook Live Video is simple words, on his Facebook account, Zuckerberg wrote, “Live is like having a TV camera in your pocket. Anyone with a phone now has the power to broadcast to anyone in the world. When you interact live, you feel connected in a more personal way. This is a big shift in how we communicate, and it’s going to create new opportunities for people to come together.” So, how do you interact live with people? Simple! Just hit a button and go live. Zuckerberg almost immediately went live himself to answer questions from the social media community. New features

New interactive features like replay comments, live reactions and live filters have also been announced. Also, people who have their own groups and who create events can use Facebook live video to the fullest. Where the feature for groups allow users to broadcast to only the group members, the feature for events allows you to go “live from a birthday party to allow those that can’t make it to join the fun.” In an explanatory post on Newsroom, Facebook mentioned that “from initial data, we’ve seen that people comment more than 10 times more on Facebook Live videos than on regular videos.” If this is true then, Facebook Live Video is something you should look forward to especially if you, as a company or an entrepreneur runs a group or groups on the social media site.
