Recently, the rumor gained another hint as the actress’s Instagram story screenshot went viral on Reddit. The image revealed Eiza Gonzalez at Warner Bros, the studio that produces DCEU movies.
While fans were expecting an announcement to be made soon, Eiza Gonzalez shocked her fans when she revealed the movie’s title. Unfortunately, it wasn’t DCEU movie.
Earlier this month, a report from Variety revealed that Eiza Gonzalez will be acting in James Cameron’s “Alita: Battle Angel.” Finally, the actress has also confirmed her new project in a new image.
The actress shared an image on Instagram, revealing the script of “Alita: Battle Angel” submitted to her. Fans can check out the picture below.
Eiza Gonzalez fans can also catch her in action in “Baby Driver.” The movie is currently under post-production and the actress plays as Darling. The film is expected to release in 2017.
It’s possible that Eiza Gonzalez’s DCEU casting rumors are false. However, DC Comics COO and President Geoff Johns hinted her connection to DCEU by following her on Twitter. Moreover, the actress has also been embracing her ties with the studios with hints on her social media accounts.
“Justice League Dark” and the Batman movie have been confirmed by Warner Bros. under its filming schedule. However, the DCEU titles currently remain without release dates.
If Eiza Gonzalez is cast as Catwoman, fans can expect the announcement as The Batman movie’s casting is in progress. Furthermore, it has also been rumored to release on October 2018.
