Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Releases the “Rock Clock” – A Motivational Alarm Clock App
Who wouldn’t want to be woken up hearing The Rock singing (or yelling) at them? Well, now Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has granted your wishes. The “Rock Clock”, which is a motivational alarm clock, the second product to come out of Project Rock, does just that and you won’t believe how!Advertisement
The Rock Clock is not an actual clock but an app that is now available on Android and iOS absolutely free of cost. According to The Verge, it is a fun, hilarious (and perhaps a little creepy) app that functions as both as a wake-me-up alarm clock and as a clock that makes sure that you fulfill whatever goal you set out to achieve, on time.
One is required to first enter a goal into the Rock Clock, no matter how big or small, and choose to either set a fixed time within which he/she would like to complete the goal or leave it as indefinite if it is a long-term goal. The next action is to select a time when you would like to wake up every day. Then comes the turn of choosing an alarm ringtone and that is where all the fun begins.
As reported by E! Online, there are a whopping 25 ringtones to choose from on the Rock Clock and all of them have been “created” by The Rock himself. If you want to be soothed into the habit of waking up early in the morning, you can have The Rock singing “Good Morning Sunshine” or whispering “Aww yeah” to a tune which is very similar to Baywatch. You can also have him incessantly repeat “beep” or make the noise of a harp being crushed if you in a mood for some tough love. Oh, and there is no snooze button, because of course, this is the Rock Clock and The Rock does not believe in snoozing!
Whatever be your choice, the Rock Clock makes sure that you are never de-motivated on your path to completing your set goals. Every day there is a fresh “Today’s Message” and clicking on it makes The Rock pop up on your mobile screen with messages such as “Wake up determined. Go to bed satisfied.”
Lastly, if you are feeling bold and ready to try out anything, try synchronizing your wake-up time with The Rock’s by selecting the “Rock Time” option. However, be forewarned that you would be inviting nothing but your own peril because the former wrestler wakes up at 4:15 am sharp! Yikes!
