Drake faces charges against a record producer who accused him of setting him up for an alleged attack.

Record producer Detail filed a complaint against the “Views” singer, revealing that he was attacked by Drake’s bodyguard in his Calabasas estate.

The Grammy-winner producer claimed that he refused Drake’s offer back in 2014 as his exclusive producer.

He said he refused to work exclusively with the Canadian rapper because he also wanted to collaborate with other artists.

But little did the record producer know that the One Dance hit maker took his rejection seriously and waited for June 2014 to set him up for a beating, TMZ said in a report.

Detail said that he was invited by Drake in his luxury pad, saying that he wanted to work with him again. However, Drake’s bodyguard pinned him down at 2 AM and allegedly broke his jaw.

Detail quoted his bodyguard Chubbs saying, “I will beat all your asses, including your bitches. I don’t give a f***. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake’s a punk?”

In a CBS News, it said that this was not the first time Drake’s bodyguard had attacked a person. A Toronto-based photographer said that the singer and his bodyguard threatened another lensman who tried to take shots of their helicopter.

Matt Small, the photographer confronted by the singer, said that Drake and his bodyguard tried to get his camera and memory card.  The duo stopped threatening him after he said that he will call the police.

According to The Daily Mail, Drake worked with various producers in his studio album “Nothing Was The Same,” which included Detail.

Detail earned his first Grammy award when he produced Beyonce’s Drunk In Love. He also worked with Jennifer Lopez in her hit Luh Yah Papi, Lil Wayne’s How To Love, and Sexy Can I by Ray J.
