Drake To Host ‘Views From The 6,’ Uses Memes To Promote Album!
Drake will be hosting a “global listening party” on Apply Music’s Beats 1 on April 28 for his “Views From the 6,” his latest album under OVO Sound.Advertisement
Earlier this week, Drake announced via his Instagram that he will have an interview with Zane Lowe for OVOSOUND Radio.
“Tune into a very special edition of OVOSOUND radio on Beats 1 this Thursday at 7PM PST / 10PM EST / 3AM GMT for a MAJOR interview with Drake by Zane Lowe (@zanelowe) @applemusic. #VIEWS,” he posted.
Drake’s “Views From the 6” is featuring Wizkid and Kyla for “One Dance,” and Jay Z and Kanye West for “Pop Style.” According to Rolling Stone, Jay Z and Kanye West are billed together as Throne.
His latest single “Summer Sixteen,” was not in the list, which he released prior to his announcement for his new album.
Drake’s “Views From the 6” is set to be released on iTunes and Apple Music on Friday, April 29, at exactly midnight.
Meanwhile, Drake has been promoting his “Views from the 6” album with memes of his album cover of him sitting on the edge of Toronto’s CN Tower, The Fader said.
He featured images of Rihanna, dvsn, Popcaan, WizKid, Pimp C, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Future, with his photo positioned in their respective images. He captioned his Instagram post with “VIEWS.”
Meanwhile, Drake also announced that he will have his yearly OVO Fest on July 29 to August 1 in Toronto. This will be his seventh. He will be joined by rapper Future.
