What's This?

PBS has released a trailer for the period drama “Downton Abbey” season 6 on Monday. This will be the last trailer we’ll see of the drama as the series would end with this season.

In the trailer, when Lady Edith is asked by Aunt Rosamund if she wishes to have a life in London, Lady Edith is seen replying, “The fact is, I’d like a life” with a kind of sigh and self-pity, according to Vanity Fair.

Mrs Hughes is also seen asking Carson, “You don’t think maybe you should start calling me Elsie?” But with the kind of expression shown by Carson, it looks impossible to judge what he is up to. And yes, Carson might call her by her first name since they are a couple-to-be.

Meanwhile, Maggie Smith’s Dowager has no dialogues in the trailer but is seen snipping a conversational warfare with her intense and curt look. It looks like there will be a lot happenings between Dowager and Isobel this season. It might be the best season ever.
