It’s raining games for consoles as well as PCs. Yesterday we reported about No Man’s Sky, one of the most awaited games releasing on PS4 and PC on June 21 in North America. The game will release in the US on June 22, and on June 24 in the UK. Now another video game, Doom is all set to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Before the game hits the console and PCs, Bethesda Softworks is releasing a beta version of Doom on March 31, 2016 so that they can test it for underlying issues, if any. The actual game will release on May 13th. Bethesda is not offering an open sign-up session as the beta version is a closed one. So, if you had participated in the Doom Alpha, you can join the beta testers. Also, if you are one of those who had pre-ordered a copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order, you will get to test the beta version of Doom.
What is Doom all about?
Bethesda Softworks on the site dedicated to the game says, “DOOM returns as a brutally fun and challenging modern-day shooter experience. Relentless demons, impossibly destructive guns, and fast, fluid movement provide the foundation for intense, first-person combat – whether you’re obliterating demon hordes through the depths of Hell in the single-player campaign, or competing against your friends in numerous multiplayer modes. Expand your gameplay experience using DOOM SnapMap game editor to easily create, play, and share your content with the world. ” Coming back to the beta version, the game will be all about the multi-player gaming. At least, the version released for testing will not focus on single-player gaming.
As usual, being Doom Beta, the game’s content will be limited. Once the game releases, you can expect more levels with great features. Waiting for the Doom release already? We are too.
