Melania Trump has already announced that she will not be moving to the White House till June 2017. In the meantime, Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, will reportedly fill in the seat of the first lady.
Barron Trump, the youngest son of Donald Trump is in the middle of finishing his fifth grade. Making him change schools just because his father now lives in Washington, D.C. would be too cruel for him.
Prioritizing her role as a mother, Melania has made it clear a few weeks ago that she will stay with her son Barron in New York. Both mother and son will move to the White House once Barron finishes school next year.
Donald Trump Daughter: Ivanka Trump Interim First Lady?
The announcement has gotten people asking a question: who will take over the duties of the First Lady till then?
A site called Nevada County Scooper seemed to have the answer. Apparently, Ivanka Trump will be moving in the White House with her dad and “taking on some of Melania’s key positions.”
What made the report sound more plausible was the following press statement from Donald Trump himself:
“It’s a really natural fit, first of all. And second of all, it’s not like it’s a downgrade in hotness at all. Look at my daughter. Isn’t she friggin’ gorgeous? I think she is. I think she’s so gorgeous that sometimes I just can’t help myself and I, you know, want to Access Hollywood her, if you know what I mean? Of course you do. Everyone knows what I mean because I have this great brain here.”
Though it is a sort of grossly inappropriate discourse that Donald Trump has been indulging in, during his campaigning days, he rarely went off the rails to this extent after becoming President-Elect.
Clearly, NC Scooper is either being satirical, or it is aligned with the left-wing in an extreme way. Snopes has since debunked the news, calling it a hoax. The site has pointed out that Ivanka Trump will not be filling in “Melania’s vacancy” anytime soon.
Donald Trump Daughter: Ivanka Trump Not Interested In Trump Administration
Ivanka has her own family to take care of. They are all based in New York. Ivanka has three lovely kids, and uprooting her life to assist her dad would not be fair to them.
However, according to the Santa Monico Observer, Ivanka may consider upholding some of the commitments Donald Trump does not have time to fulfill, if she so wishes. After all, when Jackie Kennedy travelled, her mother or sisters were seen filling in for her.
But chances are slim, since Ivanka had made it clear after the campaign that she wants nothing to do with her father’s administration.
