What's This?

When is Drake and DJ Khaled’s “For Free” Spotify release date?

June 17 and nothing. What is going on? Drake is currently dominating the Spotify streaming charts both in the US and globally, as reported by Radio Facts.

But “For Free” is still not there, as well as his newest releases, his own “4PM in Calabasas,” a Gucci Mane collaboration titled “Back on Road” and Justin Bieber’s remix of “Views” smash hit “One Dance.”

Drake and Dj Khaled dropped their third collaboration back on June 3, on Apple Music’s Beats 1 with Zane Lowe, as reported by USA Today. And since then, there was already an anticipation that it will be on Spotify soon, with some speculating that it will surely be out come June 17, two weeks its release.

it was not a random guess made.It can be remembered that Drake made sure his fans stew for around two weeks after releasing his “Views from the 6” last month exclusively through Apple Music first before releasing it on Spotify. Seeing how well the strategy worked on his favor, had he decide to take more than two weeks this time?

With more than half of Spotify’s active worldwide users as Drake’s fans it does not make sense for him to to withhold the music from that platform.

According to Billboard magazine, DJ Khaled “For Free” featuring Drake is now storming the charts. It is now part of the top 10 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.

With “For Free” being the first single from Khaled’s “Major Key “album, due at a still unknown date later this year, should Spotify listeners wait this long? Look at how fans are clamoring!
