While Marvel Studios hasn’t released any teaser footage for Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, Director James Gunn has still been updating his fans with some updates on the movie. Moreover, he has also debunked some theories and references mentioned by fans as well.
Recently, a fan tagged James Gunn on Twitter and revealed his interest that “I think they should do a Nebula movie.” Moreover, he also claimed the character portrayed by Karen as “the best” in “GotG”.
Surprisingly, Director James Gunn replied to the fan that he himself has “a few favorites”. However, he also supported the fan that “Nebula should lead her own film.
James Gunn also added that “it’s something I’ve thought about from the beginning.” Fans can check out his tweet below.
By far, James Gunn hasn’t revealed the end of his contract with Marvel Studios. However, the director has announced in interviews that he is interested in taking up DCEU titles like “’Shazam’ and ‘Metal Men’ and ‘Swamp Thing’ and ‘Jonah Hex,'” according to a report from Slashfilm.
It’s possible that Marvel Studios has discussed a standalone MCU title for Nebula. The movie could explain her origin and could also include Garmora. However, it has not been teased or hinted previously.
Currently, fans are expecting a teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2. However, the studio has only released concept art from the film.
