Deadpool 2, is reportedly moving more swiftly compared to its first installment. However, according to reports, the resignations of Tim Miller, the director of Deadpool, led to the slowdown of the film’s progress.
While Deadpool Ryan Reynolds confirmed to be returning for the sequel, David Leitch replaced Miller. Although the film is progressing at an amazingly fast pace, fans can expect the quality to remain up to the mark with writers like Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
Deadpool 2 To Star Ryan Reynolds Under New Director
Although Miller was on board when Deadpool 2 was first announced, he opted out following some creative disputes with Reynolds. Reynolds, the lead actor and movie producer, preferred to keep the “scrappy” feel of the first instalment intact while shooting Deadpool 2. It was one of the Deadpool factors that worked well with fans.
However, Miller wanted to impart a more stylish vibe to Deadpool 2. This implied that the original budget which was at $58 million would rise by three times. This created differences between the actor and the director and resulted in Miller leaving the franchise, The Wrap reported.
However, that issue now stands resolved with Leitch joining the league as the new director. Hence, the good news for the fans is the makers will be back with the next instalment of Wade Wilson’s adventures.
