Andre manages to convince Chad of Abigail’s death in a recent plane crash, which sends him over the edge. Chad is unable to cope with the news of his beloved wife’s death and spirals out of control. Chad’s deteriorating condition makes Jennifer worry about her grandson Thomas’ well-being.
The two engage into an argument over Thomas’ custody, as Jennifer doesn’t think Chad will be able to take care of Thomas properly. According to a report by the Soap Central, Jennifer turns to Doug and Julie for help to settle her dilemma, since she believes that Thomas will be better off with her.
Chad worries about losing Thomas and seeks Belle’s help to fight back Jennifer’s claims. Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that the feud between Chad and Jennifer over Thomas’ custody will not last long, as Chad will later realize that Jennifer is right and that he cannot sufficiently take care of Thomas alone.
Theresa and Brady, meanwhile, set up a search team for Tate to find the kidnapper before it is too late. However, Theresa thinks Summer is behind all of these. Summer gives of Tate to the person who paid for him and then fly off, keeping low on the radar. However, Theresa and Brady will be able to get to her by next week.
Chad also grows closer to Thomas’ nanny Ciara, who spends a lot of time in the main house. With Jennifer keeping Thomas, it for the time to tell what will happen to Ciara next.
Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that Days of Our Lives will have a few departures and returns this month. Sonny will be returning on the soap opera soon and is expected to be there for quite some time now. On the other hand, Summer and Fynn will be gone before July ends.
