David Beckham, the football sensation, is missing the sport he left badly. He wants to be back in the game once more and probably play for a year.

GQ recently featured Beckham on the cover of their magazine. Speaking with Michael Paternity, the 40-year-old star revealed that he misses soccer every day. He mentioned in the interview, “I miss soccer every day,” adding, “I don’t know whether it’s the athlete in me, or the passion I have for the game: I always think that I can step back on the field and play…”

He said that he would have seriously thought about playing the game for one more year if he was in U.S. However, he is living in London and he is enjoying his life with the kids. The kids are quite happy and he cannot bear to leave them behind.

Beckham still finds it difficult to manage his personal and professional life. The busy man is so emotionally tied to his family, especially the children, that he feels ill if they have to stay apart. He mentioned here, “I get physically ill when I have to leave the kids now.”

With a wife like Victoria Beckham, who is a former “Spice Girls” member and a true-blue fashionista with a growing empire of her own, his life with the family has changed over the years. He said, “I’m secure as a person, as a husband, as a dad. I’ve gone past the point of really worrying, caring.”

David Beckham looked absolutely handsome as he appeared for the GQ shoot, the Daily Mail reports. The double cover shoot by Alasdair McLellan saw him in two different looks, similar to each other.

The April issue of the magazine is on sale from March 17, with the star footballer gracing the cover with his ever-so prominent persona. Grab a copy or stick with Morning News USA for more news about the soccer world and every news that surrounds you.
