Some Olympic stars may take on the challenge of heating up the “Dancing With The Stars” season 23 dance floor.
While athletes have been known to have the strength of character as they face their opponents in their respective competitions, would they have the same level of courage to show off their dancing prowess?
Accordingly, some of them may just decide to be part of the upcoming season of the ABC dancing reality show.
In its latest report, CarterMatt listed five names from the Rio Olympics 2016 who might dance their way to further stardom via the “Dancing With The Stars” season 23.
The first name to be dropped was that of Simone Biles. As the world’s current best gymnast, the entertainment blogger pointed out that she must be on top of the show’s list.
The next two names were of champion swimmers Katie Ledecky and Michael Phelps.
The fourth one was Simone Manuel, also from the swimming tilt.
The fifth one identified was Ryan Murphy, another swimmer.
It can be recalled that in the past, several Olympians had already graced the “Dancing With The Stars” season 23 dance floor, namely, Shawn Johnson, Apolo Anton Ohno, Meryl Davis, Charlie White and Nastia Liukin.
By joining the competition, the report noted that contenders would have the chance to take a break from training and to let people know their real personality.
In the meantime, People reported that professional dancers Sharna Burgess and Artem Chigvintsev will still be part of “Dancing With The Stars” season 23. Their rumored participation in the new season was reportedly based on the newly-released promo image wherein both of them have appeared.
To date, there have been no announcements yet about the final list of cast members who will compete in the “Dancing With The Stars” season 23, which is set to premiere on Sept. 12.
