Dancing With the Stars Season 23 plans to bring back a familiar face on the show and it would be none other than Julianne Hough. She seemed to be excited about the upcoming stuff coming her way then.

“I’m really excited because I’m focusing on some other things,” the former DWTS champion, 27, was quoted as saying by PEOPLE. “I’m at that point in my career where I need to focus on my personal career and make sure I’m doing what I’m doing.”

In a recent interview on Access Hollywood Live for her upcoming stint on NBC’s “Running Wild With Bear Grylls,” she opened up about the possibility of her returning to Dancing With the Stars Season 23.

Hough competed on ABC’s long-running competition for five times in a row and also served as one of the judges on the show from Season 19 to 22. When asked about the chances of her returning on the show she said “Not as a dancer, for sure.”

She added that there are still some months left of summer to decide her role on the next installment of the hit dance competition.

“Regardless, I’m always going to be a part of the show somehow — it’s my family! It’s where I came from. Whether it’s as a judge or some [other] form, I’m sure I’ll be back in the ballroom at some point,” the International Business Times quoted her as saying.

The upcoming Season is all set to premiere this fall, but fans will not have to wait for long to get a glimpse at the dancing diva. She will appear as a guest star on Season 3 of the adventure series of Bear Grylls, which is to premiere on August 1, 2016, at 10 pm EDT. The “Grease Live!” star will debut on the show on the second night of the premiere on August 2.
