We all know John Legend’s pregnant spouse is due a few weeks from now. But apparently, it’s not just the baby on her tummy she’s excited to welcome. Chrissy Teigen will give birth to her very own cookbook, “Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat.”
The Spike host and soon-to-be-mother of Legend’s first child is yet to launch her personal recipes piled in a book. Teigen, as described by her official food website called “So Delushious”, loves “collecting, cooking, and Instagramming her favorite recipes.” And after several months and crazy nags from her supporters, her dream of publishing her own cookbook is finally coming true.
!!!!! I am finally holding this thing in my hands and I can’t believe it is officially real! I actually feel like it’s a movie prop or something. I’m so excited for you guys to see – I really really hope you love everything in it and find recipes to make for those you love for years to come…pot pie soup with crust crackers, Italian sausage meatloaf, cholula honey butter fried chicken, buttery scallops with the perfect sear, spicy black bean veggie chili, my herb and garlic goat cheese stuffed chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto ohhhhhhh there is so much I am excited about, this baby has so much love in it! I am so used to the Twitter and Instagram world that I can’t even comprehend people actually coming out to my signings or events and seeing your actual human bodies and faces in person but know I will have so many around the release in many different cities and I will be so sick wondering if anyone will show up ahhhhhhh but I can’t wait to see you all!! You can pre-order now but #CravingsCookbook is officially out February 23rd! Sorry so long, I have the energy of 1 3/4 people! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Vogue asked Chrissy Teigen what the best parts of her cookbook are, and the TV star shared them with enthusiasm. For Chrissy, “Cravings” sums up her childhood and the upbringing of a Thai and American household. It is a compilation of John and her favorite recipes.
She told Vogue, “I am huge on bold, strong flavors, and I think every aspect of a dish should be thoughtful, whether it’s the chicken on top of a Cobb salad or the topping on a savory casserole.” Teigen cheerily emphasized that “the book reflects me and what I grew up loving in a Thai and American household.”
Teigen takes pride in “Cravings,” like any mother would on her child, because the skill needed to achieve her recipes is a no-pro. Even beginners can follow these recipes effortlessly. And that’s why she loves cooking; it doesn’t define you or what you can do. Because, everybody can cook if they only give it a try.
John Legend, on the other hand, is delighted that his wife is enjoying this point in her life. Whereas most women, when pregnant, are usually sulky, easily irritated, and always on the verge of giving-up, Teigen actually nails it. Many thanks to her first baby, “Cravings.”
You can order Chrissy Teigen’s “Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat” in selected online stores or you may check out her website for further details regarding her baby cookbook. Happy cooking!
