Constance Shulman From ‘Orange Is The New Black’ The Face Of ‘Barbeque’
Constance Shulman from “Orange is the New Black” is now seen in the play “Barbecue,” written by Obie Award winner Robert O’Hara. The star who plays Yoga Jones in “OITNB” is playing the lead role in the show that opened on October 8 in the Public Theater.
This is not the only name giving “Barbecue” its required fame. There are names like Becky Ann Baker, Marc Damon Johnson, Arden Myrin (“MADtv”), Paul Niebanck, Heather Alicia Simms and many more. Baker was previously seen in “Good People,” “Titanic” and “All My Sons” while Marc Damon was part of “You Can’t Take It With You.”
The performance set to run till November 1 is directed by Kent Gash. There are issues such as drug abuse, racial politics and family problems dealt in the show.
