It’s Coachella time again as advance-sale tickets are now available starting Wednesday morning. The 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival tickets went on sale from the Coachella website at 11 a.m.
Coachella Tickets Now on Sale
Festival fans will surely have a field day as the dates have been announced for the next Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The much anticipated event will happen on two weekends: April 14-16 and April 21-23, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
According to Press Enterprise, the festival has offered its payment plan again for pre-sale tickets. As with previous Coachella events, the lineup is provided in January, and the tickets will become available shortly after the announcement. CBS Local added that all types of passes are available with the payment plant but the Safari Tent – which costs $7,000 – will not be included. Ticket types are as follows:
- General Admission festival pass for $399
- GA pass with shuttle pass for $459
- VIP pass for $899
- VIP Parking for $150
- Car camping for $99 (as with tent camping)
- Company parking for campers for $60
- Shuttle pass for $60
Festival goers are only allowed to buy two purchases per order. Likewise, on-site camping is only an option for people aged 18 and above, unless there is a legal guardian or parent accompanying the minor. Camping spots cannot be transferred.
More Attendees Expected
The 2016 Coachella festival featured acts like Guns N’ Roses, LCD Soundsystem, and Calvin Harris, which sold out both weekends. There are also expectations for the festival crowd to become even bigger because of a recent Indio City Council vote that pushed the festival attendance cap from 99,000 to 125,000. Further details about the festival will be released soon. Fans and other interested parties can wait for further announcements.
