Cindy Crawford, legendary supermodel, will turn 50 on February 20. She will officially be retiring from modelling.


Cindy Crawford, who had a bright modelling career since the 1980s’, said that she had enough success. She mentioned, “I’m sure I’ll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore,” adding, “And that’s okay. I’ve done it. I’ve worked with all these incredible photographers.”

While talking about her success, she said, “What else do I need to do? I can’t keep reinventing myself.” Surely, she had proven herself quite a lot of time, as she said, “I shouldn’t have to keep proving myself. I don’t want to.”

Cindy Crawford was named the highest paid model by Forbes in 1995. In the 90s’ she was named among the 40 hottest women of the world. She was also named one of the “100 Hottest Women of All-Time” by Men’s Health.

The 5-ft 9-inch model is known for her mole above her lips. Though Cindy Crawford has officially announced her retirement, she quit full-time modeling back in 2000. She then appeared in fashion magazines. She has been part of music videos and a number of films. However, her film career was not overwhelming.

She has several TV credits as well. However, in most cases, she appeared either as herself or as a host. Smaller roles were always offered to her during her TV journey.

As far as her personal life is concerned, she is married to Rande Gerber. Presley Walker, son, and Kaia Jordan, daughter, are moving forward to their respective modeling careers.

It is just a matter of days before Cindy Crawford retires from her modeling career. The 50-year-old model looks ever so glamorous.
