For Lisa Boyle, who runs the Chocolate Café, there are plenty of ways to enjoy traditional hot chocolate. In an article with the Dispatch, Boyle shares some of the ways to upgrade one’s hot choco.

Why is Christmas best enjoyed with hot chocolate? Boyle explained that similar to warm clothes for the coming winter, hot chocolate also provides comfort.

Since she runs a chocolate shop, Boyle brings hot chocolate to a higher level. After all, people who go out and enjoy chocolate drinks outside expect a lot from what they order.

In her shop, Boyle makes it a point to make every serving extra special. But how does she do this? She said it all boils down to the ingredients.

Boyle shared that to make the best-tasting hot cocoa, one needs to use the best raw material. In her shop, she uses only the best cocoa bean sourced from her suppliers.

Boyle made a clear distinction between hot chocolate and hot cocoa. She said that hot chocolate is made from melted chocolate bar, while hot cocoa is made from cocoa powder. Of course, hot chocolate is more superior over hot cocoa in terms of taste.

To make it more special, finishing it up with whip cream is what usually does the trick. One may choose other chocolate derivatives to make the cup of hot choco more special.

Of course, health conscious people have plenty of options when talking about chocolate products. Fortunately, cacao products, which include hot chocolate, are considered a super food, the Organic Authority wrote.
