Chris Paul picked up an injury on his left index finger on Saturday’s practice session in China. Reports revealed fracture and Paul is not expected to feature in the Los Angeles Clippers’ preseason game against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.

The injury is not considered serious by Clippers management and eight-time All-star point guard Paul will be evaluated once more before the tie against the Hornets on Wednesday at Shanghai.

Sunday’s exhibition game was the first of a back-to-back series against the Hornets in China. The All-star point-guard is expected to return soon for the Clippers.
