Chloe Grace Moretz Admits She’s Dating: ‘It’s Nothing Serious’
People can stop speculating if Chloe Grace Moretz is interested in a lovelife. She already is dating! While the star admits she’s seeing some people, she also says it’s nothing serious.Advertisement
The star was previously linked with Brooklyn Beckham, son of David Beckham, and Chance the rapper. However, she says neither of them fit the bill. Because even though she is dating, she cannot handle a relationship now. In an interview with Complex she pointed out, “I have no real plans.”
The lady is focused and does not want a serious relationship, as she said, “I don’t want anything right now. I can’t handle that right now.”
Moretz is just 19 but has already been acting for 13 years. The way she deals with her career and her plans will keep her from a serious relationship at this point. She is not in Hollywood because of her cute look but because her serious acting. Playing a 12-year-old murderous superhero Hit-Girl in both “Kick Ass” movies was not a cakewalk. Playing the lead in Carrie or being part of 30 Rock were both challenging as well.
However, she overcame the challenge, and today, she might even be considered a veteran actress in Hollywood. Having a boyfriend should take a backseat.
Antoine Fuqua, who directed Moretz in The Equalizer, said, “She has this laser focus, a mature sense of self, and she’s fully committed.”
Year 2016 is going to be exciting for Moretz. She worked on “The Fifth Wave,” which was released last January. She has Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising coming up in May where she is playing a comic superhero. She also has “Brain on Fire” to be released later this year.
Moretz is mature for her age, able to separate her personal life from her professional one. “I chose to have my own life and have my career. I started separating my personalities—I can be strictly in my work and very serious, and then fully break it off when I leave set and have time to myself. Be young, make dumb jokes, be a kid,” she said.
She is one of those stars who can directly and negatively comment on Kim Kardashian’s naked photo, receive flak for it, yet manage to shove it all aside. She’s standing by her words, no matter if Kardashian calls her a nobody.
