On Friday during his Dallas concert, American singer Charlie Puth had some harsh words for pop crooner Justin Bieber. While in the middle of a song, Puth paused for a while and cursed at Bieber.
PEOPLE reports that a fan-recorded video posted on Twitter shows Puth singing the track “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” which he collaborated with former Disney child actress Selena Gomez (Bieber’s ex girlfriend). Puth then sounds off, “F— you Justin Bieber!”
Before saying the words to Bieber, Puth sang the lyrics, “‘Don’t wanna know what dress you’re wearing tonight, If he’s holdin’ onto you so tight. The way I did before, I overdosed. Shoulda known your love was a game. Now I can’t get you out of my brain.”
The 24-year-old “See You Again” featured singer later apologized to Bieber, but as stated by multiple reports and fan’s screengrabs, they were reportedly removed online. Puth’s representative had no immediate comment.
The deleted tweets of Puth were, “What I said at the concert last night about Justin was meant to be a joke.”
“However…That way it was said mid song did not sound like one. I am a massive @JustinBieber fan and I have nothing but great things to say about him and his music always.”
However, Gomez and the “One Call Away” hitmaker ignited relationship rumors when the singers first collaborated on the track “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” but Puth later claimed he is single. He previously told PEOPLE that he became good friends with Selena, and they talked about working together on a song.
Media outlets like E Online claim that no words have been released by Bieber yet regarding Puth’s words during his performance.
