Cara Delevingne opened up about her girlfriend St. Vincent and admitted that she is “completely in love.”
The 23-year-old supermodel and actress opened up for the September issue of Vogue saying she and American girlfriend St. Vincent, whose real name is Annie Clarke, are getting stronger in their relationship.
“I’m completely in love,” the supermodel said. “Before, I didn’t know what love was – real love. I didn’t understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world.”
Cara Delevingne added that she is proud of having a girlfriend and being called as gay, which she has been hesitant in her younger years.
“As a child I used gay as a bad word,” she told the magazine where she is also gracing as the cover. “As in, ‘that’s so gay’. All my friends did. I’m obviously in love, so if people want to say I’m gay, that’s great. But we’re all liquid – we change, we grow.”
Cara Delevingne’s parents are also supportive of their supermodel daughter when she came out on her sexuality.
Early this year, Cara Delevingne and girlfriend St. Vincent sparked rumors that they are now engaged after two years of dating.
The model and the rock singer were rumored to have been engaged in Paris when Cara Delevingne was spotted getting down on one knee.
An onlooker witness told The Sun how Cara Delevingne on bended knee, looking as if she was proposing to her girlfriend.
“It was really touching,” the insider told. “Cara obviously likes to do things traditionally.”
Since then, the two were spotted sporting diamond rings on their outings.
Cara’s ring was recently seen on her Instagram post when jetted back from California to promote her current movie Suicide Squad.
