While Marvel Studios is progressing steadily with its production for upcoming MCU line-ups, Captain Marvel movie still remains low profile. By far Brie Larson has been confirmed to play as Carol Danvers, the main protagonist of the film. But what else have they been up to?
Recently, a tweet revealed that Marvel Studios has been busy short listing personalities from the cinema industry for Captain Marvel movie. According to the post by Mashable Senior Film Reporter Jeff Sneider, Director Emily Carmichael has been confirmed to be part of the race.
The tweet by Sneider was made in support to an opinion posted by the female director. Emily Carmichael is currently working on the screenplay for Pacific Rim: Maelstrom. She is also known in the industry in various fields for her achievements in TV, film and web series.
Earlier, we got a credible report on Marvel studio’s update with the movie. According to the tweet, “Captain Marvel” movie won’t be starting its production any soon. Furthermore, the schedule “could be post Labor Day.” Check out the post here.
Director Rachel Talalay was also hinted to be under the shortlisted names for the movie. Talalay is well known for being part of TV series shows like “The Flash and “Legends of Tomorrow.”
