Since the announcement was made at SDCC, Brie Larson is super excited about her upcoming project to star as Captain Marvel. The actress has been sharing her thoughts on Twitter and Instagram. But it doesn’t stop there.

Since there will soon be two Captains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Larson seems excited to compete with Chris Evans for the top spot. However, it looks like Captain America won’t be happy about it.

Larson recently posted a meme on Twitter mocking Evans, showing her dominance as the Captain in MCU. While Evans was kind enough to share his enthusiasm for Larson’s role as Captain Marvel in his last tweet, the actor hasn’t responded to the recent post.

While we know it’s only a joke, fans are already comparing Captain Marvel’s power against Captain America‘s. Technically, it looks like Larson is in fact on the top spot. But will the upcoming stand-alone female superhero movie be capable of stepping over Captain America in terms of box office?

Captain Marvel will be released on March 8, 2019. While Brie Larson has been confirmed to play as Carol Danvers, MCU still hasn’t finalized the director of the movie.

A majority of Marvel fans want Brie Larson for the main role. The actress had been rumored to have been chosen to play as the fictional superhero for a long time, but it wasn’t confirmed until now.

In other news, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2 also revealed a teaser trailer to SDCC attendees. While the studio still hasn’t publicly released it, fans can click here to check out its description.
