‘Captain America: Civil War’ New Video Trailer Showed A Glimpse of Crossbones
During the recently concluded MTV Movie Awards on April 9, the latest trailer of the upcoming American superhero film “Captain America: Civil War” was unleashed. The new video clip features Crossbones, the villain played by American actor Frank Grillo.Advertisement
The less-than-a-minute-long “Captain America” trailer features the feud between Captain America and his crew against Team Iron Man. The sought-after video trailer provides a glimpse of Chris Evans’ Captain America, Anthony Mackie’s Falcon, and Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch teaming up and taking part in a violent struggle against a group of soldiers to break through a building.
“Captain America being given his shield, Ironman [Robert Downey Jr] forging his armour in a cave, the Avengers assembling,” Evans said at the event, as reported by International Business Times.
“Every triumph, victory, every epic battle has led to this. For eight years and 12 movies, Marvel Studios has built a sprawling cinematic universe without equal, and this summer that the universe is gonna be rocked to its core. For the first time ever, this is exclusive world premiere footage from Captain America: Civil War,” the 34-year-old actor added.
“Captain America: Civil War” is directed by brothers Anthony & Joe Russo, while the film is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
The cast of the superhero film includes Don Cheadle as War Machine, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, and Spider-Man portrayed by Tom Holland. The previous video clip of Civil War showed the webslinger on Iron Man’s side.
Fans of the superheroes can witness the clash in Captain America: Civil War on May 6.
