Calvin Harris Mocks Tom Hiddleston & Taylor Swift In ‘Ole’ Music Video?
Did Calvin Harris actually threw shade on his ex Taylor Swift and her new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston?Advertisement
In his new music video in collaboration with John Newman, the Scottish DJ and songwriter allegedly diss the new pair by writing the song entitled “Ole” in Tom Hiddleston’s point of view.
Though Calvin Harris did not directly named the two, many believe that he was hinting that Taylor Swift cheated on him with Tom Hiddleston while they are still in a relatioshiop.
In “Ole” track, lyrics says, “I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend. Being attentive, continue to pretend.” It continues, “You’ve hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you’ve been going through hell.
The lyrics says, “Left him alone and you booked in a hotel.”
Speculations even heightened when Calvin Harris and John Newman also did a scene sitting by the rocks, which is similar to that of Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift’s PDA-packed outing in Rhode Island.
It can be recalled that the two seemed to have confirmed their relationship when they were spotted canoodling and kissing in the rocks, just near Taylor Swift’s mansion.
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston started dating just days after the Blank Space singer broke-up with the How Deep Is Your Love hit maker.
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris were in a relationship for one and a half years before calling it quits.
Meanwhile, the DJ failed to avoid a Taylor Swift joke when he was about to receive his Future Icon Award at Caesar’s Palace anniversary gala last Saturday, MTV said in a report.
Just when host comedian Howie Mandel gives his award, he told hi, “That’s a nice suit. Who’s your Taylor?”
But Calvin Harris took it light and answered back, “You got that prepared. You had that one ready.”
He then cut the joking off and continued on a serious note by saying, “It’s an honor to be here,” he said. “I don’t do this thing that often. I don’t receive these kind of awards very often either. It’s a great honor to be here.”
