The guest stars who will be making appearances on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” Season 4 include Rhea Perlman as Holt’s neighbour, Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone as the boss, Jim O’Heir of ‘Parks and Rec’ as a police officer, and Ken Marino, who is the new interim Captain back home, the Screen Crush reported.
According to a report by the TV Guide, there will also be a spectacular kiss between two characters, although they would not be the usual candidates. Thus, it wouldn’t be Boyle and Genevieve, Holt and Kevin, Gina and Pimento or Jake and Amy. The kiss will, reportedly, occur following brief action sequence, which gets the characters out of a tricky situation.
The Movie News Guide reported, that there are also speculations over a possible return of Figgis and his gang on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” Season 4 . There are further reports that Figgis would even be aware of Peralta and Holt’s whereabouts.
In June,’Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘ executive producer Dan Goor said that they did not pay much heed to the possibility of Jake and Holt going to the witness protection until the last half of the Season 3.
“It was an image that I had in my head from pretty early in the season, and then we sort of talked about it as a room and thought, ‘Oh, that’ll be cool,’ then put up a card on a wall underneath 323, where it said ‘Finale,’ that read ‘Jake and Holt go to witness protection,'” he told Yahoo.
He added, “Then we really sort of ignored it until the last half of the season. As we started to think about how we were going to get there… we also knew we wanted to do this Adrian Pimento arc [an undercover cop who returns, then has to fake his death]. I think it was Luke Del Tredici, who’s a great writer/producer on the show, who had the pitch that the Adrian Pimento arc leads to an arc that leads to witness protection.”
“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” Season 4 will also see an announced crossover with ‘New Girl,’ which premieres October 11 at 8 p.m.
