Brock Lesnar has been indisposed for one reason or another but could be a big add at WWE Clash of the Champions which is happening on Sept. 25. But even if he was around, who could he possibly face?
Obviously, the “Beast Incarnate” will not be in the cards for the upcoming pay-per-view so the best to do right now is speculate on who he could face next instead. If Paul Heyman is to be heard, the choice seems uncanny – Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
While “The Rock’s” star power is big, Heyman expectedly turned the tables and instead boasts that it would be Brock Lesnar who will be the star of the show. Though all that may depend on perspective, the dish is hardly comes as a surprise.
Unlikely for WWE Clash of the Champions
It would have been great to see “The Rock” and Brock Lesnar for Clash of the Champions though it is obvious that such cannot happen. Johnson is busy with his Hollywood commitments and even if he would oblige, it lacks the time to build up a storyline.
Being a blockbuster, the match could make sense if it were made are Wrestlemania 33. Brock Lesnar doesn’t have an official match yet so that could be a humdinger of a match if it is made.
There are other names in the mix
A possible match with “The Rock” is possible though it depends on his availability. Johnson has made it a point to be at Wrestlemania though not as a competitor.
Regardless, there are other names in the mix. That includes “The Undertaker” and that fantasy rematch involving Bill Goldberg. As many can see, Brock Lesnar is not short of opponents so anything is possible.
For Johnson, another thing worth noting is that he cannot afford to be injured. It was something that was brought up before and everyone knows how brutal Brock Lesnar could be. Still and all, anything can be made so stay tuned.
