The Brit Awards nominations for 2016 have the biggest names in the world of entertainment. The awards ceremony will be held at London’s O2 Arena and will be shown live on ITV at 8 p.m.


The Brit Awards 2016 nominations are now available on the official webpage. The British artist nominated include Adele for “Hello.” Ellie Goulding is nominated for “Love Me Like You Do.” Jessie J is nominated for “Flashlight,” and Little Mix for “Black Magic.” Other nominations include One Direction for “Drag Me Down,” Sam Smith for “Writing’s On The Wall,” and Years & Years for “King.”

The British Breakthrough Act nominations include Catfish And The Bottlemen, James Bay, Jess Glynne, Wolf Alice and Years & Years. Male solo artists featured in Brit Awards 2016 nominations are Aphex Twin, Calvin Harris, James Bay, Jamie XX, and Mark Ronson. The female artists are Adele, Jess Glynne, Laura Marling, Amy Winehouse and Florence + The Machine.

International male solo artists nominations include Justin Bieber, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, The Weeknd and Father John Misty. For females, names like Bjork, Courtney Barnett, Megan Trainor, Ariana Grande and Lana Del Ray are featured.

Adele has nominations for both Mastercard British Album and British Solo. Alabama Shakes, Eagles of Death Metal, Major Lazer, U2 and Tame Impala scored best international group nominees. The awarding will be held on February 24 and will be telecasted live. The live stream will also be available on YouTube, the Independent reports.
